Jiang Shan Qing Chu

"Jiang Shan Qing Chu" was inscribed by Chen Zhaoqiang, Vice admiral of the Navy and Director of Foochow Arsenal in 1921. Jiangshan, also known as Zhongshan in Nanjing. According to Jin · Ganbao's "Sought the Gods", Jiang Ziwen, the county captain of Moling (now Nanjing) in the Eastern Han Dynasty, chased the thieves to the foot of Zhongshan Mountain, died of injury, and later became a god, until Sun Quan, the capital of the Three Kingdoms, established Jianye (Nanjing). It was said that Jiang Ziwen appeared in the Tao, and Sun Quan granted the title of the capital, changing Zhongshan into Jiangshan, to show the supernatural. Here, Ma Jiashan is compared to Jiang Shan, metaphorically symbolizing the reverence of those who sacrificed their lives in resistance to the law.
